A Checkup for your Estate Plan

Warren Sinsheimer presents a program on A Checkup for your Estate Plan
Every year there are changes in a variety of tax laws, changes in California’s statutes, and changes in client circumstances. Not all these things affect everyone, but many people will find that there are one or more changes that affect them. In addition, there are a number of things we all need to review (such as beneficiary designations) to be sure that they are current and efficient. This presentation will take the audience through a number of broadly applicable changes and cautions. At the end, you should have a better informed sense of whether you are truly “up to date” or in need of an overhaul.

Warren Sinsheimer, a partner in Sinsheimer Juhnke Lebens & McIvor, LLP, has been practicing in San Luis Obispo since 1973. Throughout that time he has devoted a significant portion of his practice to Trusts & Estates, both planning and administration. Warren also deals with tax matters, charitable gift planning and real estate transactions.

Warren is a graduate of UC Davis and Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley. He is former chair of the State Bar of California Trusts & Estates Section. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. For several years he has been co-chair of the UCLA/CEB Estate Planning Institute and he is a frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education presentations around California.
