Hillary A. McGonegleAssociate
Hillary McGonegle is an attorney in the firm's intellectual property practice group. She focuses her practice on client counseling, intellectual property licensing, patentability and infringement analysis, and preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a wide range of technologies. Hillary is a registered United States Patent and Trademark attorney, and she is admitted to practice law in Washington. Representative Accomplishments: * Prepared and prosecuted patents relating to nanotechnology, molecular-array technology, computer software, mechanical devices, electromechanical devices, business methods and internet technologies. Background: Hillary received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She received her master’s degree in Engineering from the University of California at Davis. Hillary received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law. While attending law school, Hillary served as a law clerk in the firm’s intellectual property practice group, and was given the CALI Award for writing and research Prior to attending law school, Hillary worked as an engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area for a number of years, where she designed soil and groundwater remediation systems. Her experience includes research at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories in the development of bioremediation technology which was published in various articles.
